Mr. Truong Duc Luong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Vietnamese Security Network J.S.C – VSEC , attended the “Spring of cohesion – Tet of love” program on the afternoon of January 9, 2023, at University of Technology -Hanoi National University. Here, he celebrated the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit 2023 by presenting gifts to international students and those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

UTHN collaborates with the Alumni Liaison Department, which includes representatives from many different companies’ top executives, to host the “Spring of harmony – Tet of love” program. University of Technology representatives included Vice Rector Dr. Nguyen Anh Thai, Head of the Student Affairs Department Dr. Bui Trung Ninh, and Student Union President MSc. Phan Hoang Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Union. Mr. Truong Duc Luong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Cybersecurity Joint Stock Company, and other sponsors sided with CEOs who are alums of the University of Technology. 

During the “Spring of harmony – Tet of love” event, former students reminisced and voiced their satisfaction with the quantitative and qualitative growth of the University of Technology. As a representative of his fellow graduates, Mr. Truong Duc Luong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Cybersecurity Joint Stock Company and a graduate of K46 Faculty of Information Technology, recently returned to the school after a long absence to engage in student-to-student exchange and reminisce about his time as a pioneering student in what is now University of Technology’s inaugural class. Mr. Truong Duc Luong was overjoyed to learn, through a variety of sources, that the University’s training programs were expanding to include a wider range of professions and that the quality of their instruction was improving. Mr. Duc Luong envisions a future where University of the Pacific students are better able to network with successful graduates in their chosen areas.

At the event, the CEOs presented gifts to 45 students, including 4 overseas students from Laos and Korea and 41 students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are excelling academically and conducting groundbreaking research. Dr. Nguyen Anh Thai, the University’s Vice Rector, was pleased to hear from the alumni who had participated in the University’s many events throughout the years. The good history of alumni giving back to the University has been upheld for many years, Dr. underlined. The school holds these gatherings in the hopes that students will become more accountable for their own education and that the achievement of former students would serve as an inspiration to current students. The Vice Rector hoped that all current and former students would have a safe and happy Tet holiday with family and friends.
